Dry eye is a very normal side effect that follows any eye surgery — not just cataracts. That’s because the eye is a rather sensitive organ. The type of surgery a patient receives combined with their topical drop regimen prescribed by their doctor will determine how long they might deal with dry eye until it goes away. In this mini session, Brian Szabo, DO; Eric Fazio, MD; and Nick Bruns, OD, FAAO give more insights on dry eye and the methods they use to help manage it.
